Ingredients for Our Chinese Sausage Fried Rice Recipe

  • 2 Chinese sausages (about 85g), cut into 1/8” pieces
  • 70g mixed veggies
  • 500g warm rice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp chicken powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp diced green onion

Step by Step Instructions for Our Chinese Sausage Fried Rice Recipe

This tasty dish is easy to whip together for a satisfying dinner. Here are the step by step instructions!

Heat your wok with a 1 teaspoon of oil.

Add your sliced Chinese sausage, and stir for about 30 seconds until the sausage has turned a darker red.

Add your mixed veggies and stir for about 30 seconds.

Add 1 teaspoon of cooking wine and mix.

Give everything a nice toss, then transfer your Chinese sausage and veggie mix onto a plate, and set aside.

Add 2 more tsp of oil into your wok.

Beat two eggs in a small bowl, then pour them into your wok and stir in a circular motion until it starts to solidify.

Once the eggs start to solidify, add your rice, and mix. Use a wooden spoon to stir the rice and separate clumps.

Add your salt, chicken powder, sugar, and white pepper, then stir, making sure to separate any more clumps.

Add your veggies and Chinese sausage back into the pan and stir for about 30 seconds.

Add soy sauce to taste (about 1 tsp, or more if you need!), then stir to ensure all the rice is evenly coated.

Sprinkle your chopped green onions on top and mix. Be sure to test taste a bite and add salt/extra pepper/soy sauce as needed.

Pile the fried rice onto a plate and then serve.
